Alexxis has been in the veterinary field since 2006 and has been both a veterinary assistant and a client service representative.  She currently lives with her husband Anthony and their menagerie of pets:  a Great Dane named Soba and a Great Pyrenees named Tsunami, 4 cats (Pandora, Penelope, Midge & Keke), and a crested gecko named Kakarot.  She has had a variety of exotics as well (sugar glider, ferrets, hedgehog, chinchilla, and a chameleon).  She enjoys the horror genre of books/movies, and traveling with her husband.  She owns a petsitting business called Capital City Pet Care, LLC.
